Why do so many people use wire services when ordering flowers?
The nearest florist to me is 27 miles away (45 minute drive, $7 for gas), open 6 days a week from 8 AM to 7 PM. My phone and computer are mere inches away and open 24/7. My aunt has flower allergy problems and can%26#039;t get near flowers, but she faithfully wired bouquets to grandmama for every major holiday.
Then...there are the %26quot;floral challenged,%26quot; who have no sense of taste, style, or anything...the kind of person who wouldn%26#039;t know the difference between a burger at McDpnalds vs. a burger at TGIF%26#039;s.

Low carbon flowers for delivery in Devon.?
I want to send my mum some flowers but I want low mileage - I%26#039;d prefer seasonal, locally-grown (certainly UK). She%26#039;s in south Devon - internet useless all online florists seem to source %26#039;exotic%26#039; (high-carbon and air mileage). Is there a website catering to this? Any ideas?

Can I use Canadian peat moss to stop weeds in flower beds?
I don%26#039;t want to use mulch because it%26#039;s more expensive and I don%26#039;t want to pay for delivery cost either. Canadian peat moss is much cheaper and I can bring it home myself with a car.

Link building is an art, it cannot be done over night. It takes time, over a period of time only you can accumulate relevant links for the site. If you can continusly acquiring links over a period of time you can accumulate a good no. of links for yr site.

Reply:I suppose the most dumbest thing..or what I would say most irritating thing said about my cocker spaniel is that they think it%26#039;s a poodle!! Just because it has long ears and a clean face doesn%26#039;t mean it%26#039;s a poodle!! I mostly got this reaction from people about my black cocker...I don%26#039;t get it much with my buff cocker...but it%26#039;s funny for me to hear someone ask if my cocker is a poodle because I know the breeds are so different and so easy to distinguish.

It was a state trooper. He said they had taken a delusional lady in for hospital care, but had to leave her two dogs in the car as they ahd nowhere to put them. The employee on emergency call duty the night before still had the shelter truck, so I asked how big they were so I could plan on how to use my vehicle to get them. OK, it%26#039;s 6:30 in the morning, it%26#039;s going to be a hot day, and I am at a total loss as to what a large breed dog called a %26#039;lollapalooza%26#039; could possibly be. I go out to the garage and get a BIG crate, strap it into my truck, grab a small crate, and go to the location. What do I find? A little car with a little basket, and in the little basket was a yorkie and a LHASA APSO! THAT was my %26quot;lollapalooza%26#039;!
The lady was released from the hospital the next day and these two little sweeties were reunited with their mommy, who had a bad reaction to a prescription drug she%26#039;d been given by her doctor.
Moral of the story? Never trust a cop with a lollapolooza! LOL

When she finally stepped off her soap box and shut up, I told her that I did in fact get both dogs from a shelter and that purebred dogs in shelters needed homes just as badly as the mixed breeds.
Im all for rescuing dogs (obviously) but that is just ignorance, stupidity and rudeness to go around screaming at every owner you see with dogs that look like they might come from a breeder.

I mostly got this reaction from people about my black cocker...I don%26#039;t get it much with my buff cocker...but it%26#039;s funny for me to hear someone ask if my cocker is a poodle because I know the breeds are so different and so easy to distinguish.

My daughter has went to Finland and is staying with a friends family for a week and i want to send a gift from myself to them for their kindness . I have looked at flower delivery but they are extremely expensive unfortunately , just recovering from xmas etc , does anyone have any ideas what i could send myself via airmail ? Zit gone bad?
i work for a flower delivery company and found a pair of shades inside the packaging. they were obviouslly accidently wrapped inside. instead of finding owner, i wore them. they looked cool. the day after i had em on for a whole day, i got a zit right between the eyes. it%26#039;s a major ZIT GONE BAD. it%26#039;s right where the bridge thingy of the glasses sit. it%26#039;s been 1 week. haven%26#039;t worn em since. but zit won%26#039;t heal. should i try to find owner? any home remedies for ZITS GONE BAD? is it a karma thing?

Or maybe the other person got a huge zit from wearing them and threw them in on purpose to share the whole zit gone bad deal. I am looking for a spring/summer job, but I don%26#039;t want a standard high school gig (e.g. waitress, cashier, etc.) I am interested in pursuing science and/or medicine in the future. Can you think of anything I could do?
I already thought about volunteering in a hospital, but from what I have heard, it is just pillow-fluffing and flower delivery. I want something more intellectually stimulating, and preferably with a salary. Any ideas are appreciated!

Here are my Stats: SAT score: 1580 ( yes I know i did crappy.. thats like average) I was a House page my Junior year.I was chosen for principal%26#039;s page. I volunteered 217 hours at a hospital. in Osteo screening, short stay surgery , pediatrics and flower delivery. volunteered in food drive. Volunteered 300 hours to political campaigns. I interned at a law firm when I was 15 for a year ( including summer) and my senior year ( now) for a year. I have a 3.8 GPA National Honors society tutoring freshmen, I%26#039;m attending Eastern Washington University now getting college credits ( as well as fulfilling my highschool requirements) for my senior year.Hoby leadership program. I started a crochet club. In art club and spanish club. uhh. president%26#039;s award for volunteering, presidents award thing for academics. and moreI %26#039;m Mexican... What are my odds in getting into a good college. any suggestions on where I could get accepted to? Where I should apply? I%26#039;m thinking of going into law......

Anyway, there are a lot of good schools that you could get into - you did a TON of extracurricular work, so you should make that the backbone of your application. Apply to your state%26#039;s main public school as a backup (or not, some are really very good). Apply to Loyola University of Chicago. I applied there when I was a senior, and I know that they LOVE extracurricular work and volunteerism. I read that you want to go into law, so it MIGHT help to go to a school that has a law school, but it really doesn%26#039;t usually make a difference (that%26#039;s what I%26#039;ve heard at least). You could pay for an entire beauty treatment--nails, pedicure, massage or just facial massage. A European facial massage is very nice and a very nice gift. You might need to contact one of her girlfriends or some other woman who knows the best places to go in your hometown. Very sweet of you. Hope everything works out positively for you both. im starting a new job as a flower delivery man on tuesday, and i just realized that a few weeks ago my family planned 2 go out of state that saturday, and come back on monday...i would be missing probably 1..but maybe 2 days of school..am i gonna get fired lol

lets say u felt bad or angry with ur girlfriend or an %26quot;intimate friend%26quot; coz of something she said or did. Becoz u felt too bad that moment, u dont talk to her, u dont answer her calls, her messages, even if u bump into each other as if nothing happens. But she keeps on reaching for you, leaving some stuffs in ur doorstep (stuff toys), letters, and even flower delivery, saying that she%26#039;s sorry. what do u think? will u forgive me? i mean, will u be touched by these gestures? honestly?

However, if it was something severe like cheating on me, I%26#039;d be through with you. But if that were the case, it wouldn%26#039;t take me long to reach that decision.
To sum up, at least for me personally: If I%26#039;m not talking for a while, then I was hurt, but not severely enough to end it. It will pass eventually, but it will take time.

My gf is mad at me and wants to break up with me.............she isnt calling me........the reason for this is she saw my picture on hotornot.com..........what the hell....thats not a dating site...........she got so pissed off...and never wants 2 speak 2 me

i even called a flower delivery service to delivery 1 dozen roses 2 her house.................
