Is it proper etiquette to tip a flower delivery man!?
Proper Etiquette!?
I don%26#039;t think so. Maybe if you saw him ALOT, like if he delivered to a business on a regular basis. But someone who you see once, I don%26#039;t think so.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t but it probally is.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t - the person who sent the flowers paid for them, which included a delivery fee.
Reply:Yes it is........unless it was covered in the delivery..............
Reply:No, not where I come from - Scotland - its not because we are mean - that%26#039;s a standing joke, but flower delivery men here are not one of the recognised %26quot;trades%26quot; to tip - like - posties at Christmas, and waitresses etc. But if you feel generous when your beautiful flowers arrive, nothing to stop you - I would probably do it myself.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t because I didn%26#039;t order the flowers. This is assuming someone sent you flowers, of course.
I guess if I ordered them....well I dont know, I dont order flowers for myself.
Reply:i think the florist probably added a delivery charge into the bill, so it is up to you to tip or not.
Reply:Although delivery should have been included in the bill,
I think many deliverers would not survive on what they are paid.
Perhaps some get their joy out of watching the recipient%26#039;s face when they bring them lovely flowers.
I%26#039;d tip, if it were me.
Reply:Yes, it is a nice thing to do.
Reply:give him a buck or two. we all need money to survive.
Reply:oh most certainly tip them. I believe if you are receiving a service for something the provider should be tipped. I wont tip at drive up windows but I will tip the car hop at Sonic.
